Acquiring established Australian businesses.
RBR Industries is a private acquisition company. We acquire profitable, established businesses across industrial sectors, with capital committed and advisors engaged to act when the right opportunity arises.

Our approach
Established, not early
We buy businesses that already work. Profitable, trading, with a record behind them. Not startups, not turnarounds, not projects that need rescuing.
Continuity through the handover
A sale is unsettling for the people who work there. The transition is planned around keeping the team, the customers and the way the business already runs.
Prepared, not speculative
Equity is committed, and an advisory team is in place. When something fits, we can act on it rather than start arranging from scratch.
Why this exists
A great many of Australia’s good small industrials businesses are owned by someone approaching retirement, and a surprising number of them have no obvious buyer.
The trade buyer often wants the customer list and little else. The private equity buyer wants something three times the size. That leaves owners of genuinely sound businesses choosing between a sale that dismantles what they built and no sale at all.
RBR Industries exists to be the third option — a buyer with real capital and experienced operators behind it, who wants the business to carry on doing what it does well.
How we work
An owner selling a business they have spent decades building is entitled to know who is on the other side of the table, and how prepared they are. Four things are true of every conversation we have.
Partners with operating track records
The equity partners behind RBR Industries have built, run and successfully sold businesses of their own. They are in this as partners rather than passive capital.
An advisory team already engaged
An advisory team supports the structure and valuation work, and a finance broker handles the debt. Both are established relationships, retained now.
Analysis done in-house
The financials are read and assessed directly by us, so a considered view comes back in days rather than waiting on an external accountant to be briefed.
Discretion as standard
Conversations stay between us and our advisors. An informal first discussion is treated with the same confidentiality as a signed process.
Let’s talk.
Whether you are an owner weighing up your options, an advisor with a client considering theirs, or someone who knows a business worth a look — we are easy to reach and quick to respond. There is no need to wait until something is formally on the market.
